12km return (4 hours, moderate). Walk through regenerating native forest, regularly enjoying fantastic views across the valley, to the Nil Desperandum Homestead. Meet at 9am: Greens car park (near Nature Discovery Playground), Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve. 
What to bring: appropriate clothes and shoes/boots for bushwalking, hat, sunscreen, raincoat, water, snacks, picnic lunch. There are toilets and picnic tables at the Playground and at the homestead.
You will need a vehicle pass (day rate $14) for the Reserve, which can be picked up at the Visitor Centre beforehand.
