SUMMARY:Weekend at Wombeyan caves
DESCRIPTION:Updated on 10/12/2024 \nNext year\, for the Canberra Long weekend in March\, we will explore the magical underground world of the Wombeyan Caves. You can choose to join us in a tour of some of the caves\, take a bushwalk through the Victoria Arch walking track to a viewing platform overlooking a remarkable natural rock formation\, and enjoy the wildlife such as magpies\, lyrebirds\, kangaroos and satin bowerbirds. Of course\, we will still have our standard long-weekend activities of an evening BBQ\, raclette\, and morning Rösti. \nWhen: Friday 7th – Monday 10th March 2025 \nWhere: 24 Wombeyan Caves Road\, Wombeyan Caves\, NSW (about a 2 hour drive from Canberra\, north of Goulburn) \nAccommodation:\nBook your own accommodation at the Wombeyan Karst Conservation Reserve as soon as possible to avoid missing out.
