SUMMARY:Lake Burley Griffin Lunch Cruise
DESCRIPTION:The event will take place on Saturday 7th October 12.30 to 3.30pm\nWe meet 20 minutes before departure at 12:10pm as we need to be signed in by a member of the Southern Cross Club. Don’t miss the boat! \nMeeting Place: Canberra Yacht Club\, MV Southern Cross Boat\, Mariner Place (off Alexandrina Drive)  \nThis event is for current club members only. \nCost:\n$45 for adults \n$20 for children under 12 yoa \nMaximum guests 62 \nThe event will be subsidized by the Canberra Swiss Club. The price includes the cruise itself and once on board a sit-down 2 course lunch and some drinks from the bar (the club will have a tab). This all happens as you watch the Canberra scenery go by. The boat has fully enclosed seating and is currently being renovated to be even better.  \nIf you have any special dietary needs\, please let us know before 12th September. \nBookings should be made HERE \nby Monday 11th September please as we need to give indicative numbers to Southern Cross Club 3 weeks beforehand.  \nIf the boat is not fully booked by then we may be able to add a few extras\, but you may be unlucky so get in first.  \nWe hope for many members to attend\, especially senior members who have not been able to attend functions lately and/or others with restricted mobility.  \nPlease let Cathy know if you need transport or any other help. \nmobile: 0402 584 194 or\nemail: secretary.canbswissclub@gmail.com or\nany other member of the committee \nIt was a very popular event when the club held a similar (but nighttime) function several years ago and the food has been very good in the past.  \nWe hope to see you there. \nYour Committee \nUpdated on 4/07/2023
